I keep forgetting

Sunnies: Oakley (option) | Top: Kate Spade (option, option) | Bracelet: Express | Bag: Michael Kors (budget option) | Skirt: Forever 21 (option, option)   | Shoes: Enzo Angiolini (option)

There's no big frills to this outfit, right? Just a pencil skirt, a sleeveless top, a bracelet, and heels. But, I do believe it's all in the details though - a fun print, a touch of ruffles, a contrasting bag, and the cute little bow on the shoes. And really, I always forget how much I love pencil skirts until I put them on again. And I also forget that sometimes no big frills is a good thing!

  1. So happy to finally catching up with you. Jet-lag is almost gone and I am almost back to normal :)
Totally agree with you Carylee simple details make any outfit and although you think this beautiful outfit is no frills ( meaning it is effortless chic for me) it really is everything - girly, pretty, so well put together! <3 I think pencil skirts are epitome of a polished look and the polka dots make yours so playful, those cute shoes and the beautiful ruffled top are the perfect finishing touches. Girl you look great!!! XOXO, Elif

  3. I thought you were going to say you keep forgetting not to shop. Ha ha. I love pencils too. I just wish I had more places to wear skirts. It's not the same when working from home. Again, love the shoes and bag. I like seeing what accessories you add to your outfits.

    1. I've been doing so well with the ban! I did order some replacement beauty stuff last night, but that can't count!
Yes, I worked from home for a few months, and it was hard! Not only for shopping but just even to feel motivated! I don't think I could work from home 100% of the time.
