Mint and chevron

Old Navy sunnies
Express top and skirt
Groopdealz tiny bubble necklace (option)
Nordstrom pyramid bracelets (option, option, option, option)
BCBG watch
Kate Spade Karolina bow pumps in Seafoam

If you know me, you know that I hate eating anything mint. Mint chocolate chip ice cream - blech. After dinner mints - blech. Minty gum - blech. However, wearing mint is a different story. I am slowly building my mint wardrobe. The portofino shirts from Express are pretty amazing. I like that it's a thicker material than a sheer chiffon. I grabbed this one in mint a couple weeks ago, and as I picked up this skirt during that same shopping trip, I knew these two pieces would be amazing together. When I was getting dressed this morning, I thought, hmmm... mint shoes... too much? Nah, of course not. It's just right, in my opinion. Of course I got many comments today like, "Wow, your shirt matches your shoes!" I had one person ask me if they came as a set - like how bras and panties come as a set? Haha, no. These were purchased completely separate from each other, but definitely intentional that they were worn together today. Minty bliss. <-- That would be a good name for an ice cream flavor. Just not a flavor I would particularly eat.
