Flats and a skirt

Kate Spade earrings (similar) and watch
Express top (old)
Premiere Jewelry necklace layered with The Limited necklace (option)
Francesca's jacquard ball skirt (option)
Kenneth Cole flats (option)

I don't know why, but I can do flat sandals with dresses and skirts all day long, but when it comes to closed toe flats with dresses and skirts, I feel like it doesn't always work. I feel stumpy. These flats are great though a) because they have a pearlescent finish to them which dresses them up a bit, and b) have just the right amount of pointed toe that make me feel like I'm wearing heels.

Man, after looking at this, I think I'm just on a metallic kick this week after yesterday's post!

    1. I appreciate that - thanks! I've had both pieces for awhile now, not sure why I haven't paired them up sooner!

  4. I think this look works really well on you! I debated flats vs heels with my dress today but went with heels to dress it up for work. Good to know flats work just as well.

    1. Thanks, Lauren! Flats are tricky, but it does work! I love heels, but not gonna lie, it's nice to skip them from time to time.

    1. This is probably the only pair of flats that has any kind of point to them! I tend to turn to round toes for flats. I need to switch that up!!
