Moto + camo and a 6K

Express minus the leather moto jacket, Evereve Camo dress, Vince Camuto Kathleen booties
Outfit details--- Sunnies: TOMS | Earrings: Francesca's | Necklace: Kendra Scott "Phara" (gifted) | Bag: Charming Charlie (c/o) (non stud option here) | Jacket: Express | Dress: EvereveBooties: Vince Camuto ---

Moto details and camo are two things I always crave, especially for fall! When I stumbled upon this dress a couple of weeks ago, I couldn't stop thinking about it! It's the perfect camo print, and although I don't normally go for swing dresses because they aren't the most flattering on me, I still had to add this to my closet! I knew it would be the perfect base layer in the cooler months and I really loved the way it looked under a jacket, especially this moto one! I have a feeling that I will be shopping Evereve more often!

This weekend, I ran the Cardinals Care 6K. I'm not a runner. I will actually go on to say that I kind of hate running. But my love for the Cardinals runs deep and trumps my distaste for running! I ran in this same race back in 2013 and it was so much fun! It's a very easy, laid back run and the fact that you get to finish on the field gets me excited! I've been wanting to run it again but the timing hasn't worked out until this year!

I'm happy to report that I managed to finish without walking, which is a huge feat. I haven't done much cardio since early August because Pilates has been taking up my normal workout time, so I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to run non-stop. I was finally able to fit in a run last weekend, but it was only two miles, and I walked for a half mile in between. Running with a big group of people is definitely different than running alone on a park trail. And when we were finishing our last leg and the stadium was in the distance, I got a second wind which was nice!

Thankfully I didn't have to run solo. Beth agreed to run with me and even though we are not talking runners, it was still nice to have a companion and I know she was equally excited to finish unscathed!

Hope you all had an equally fulfilling weekend! Thanks for stopping by and linking up!
