Last December, I got to attend a super fun holiday launch party for the new Paperdolls website. I loved all the stuff they carried and ended up buying a few more things after that event! Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago, and the gals from Paperdolls reached out to me again to invite me to the grand opening party of their newly opened location on Manchester Road in Des Peres. That makes their 4th location in the St. Louis metro area. How exciting! I haven't shopped them in awhile and was long overdue for a visit! Unfortunately, I already had plans that evening, but since it was an all-day event, I squeezed in a quick shopping trip for my lunch break. The new store is conveniently located less than 10 minutes from my office!
This vest was one of the first things I saw and picked up. All of my faux fur vests from previous years are gigantic on me now, so I was in the market for a new one. I LOVED the cinched waist detail! It makes the fit a lot more flattering than most other faux fur vests! I also loved how romantic this blush off the shoulder top looked. I previously tried pairing an off the shoulder top with a vest in this post here, so I decided to try this blush top and vest on together in the dressing room and I was immediately obsessed with the combo! The color of the vest is technically called "camel" but the blush top really brings out the pink undertones in it. Such an awesome neutral pairing!
Remember that epic leggings review post I put together? After I wrote that post, I decided I really needed the burgundy version of the Spanx faux leather leggings They really do fit like a dream! I wore them to the Paperdolls event and subsequently tried on the vest and top with the leggings. I loved the combo so much that I decided to wear it as a real outfit. Seriously obsessed!
You'll be seeing more things I got from Paperdolls throughout the week! While they did give me store credit and a generous swag bag as incentive to attend the event, all the opinions expressed are my own.
