Happy Tuesday! I'm excited to be co-hosting the Layers & Lipstick Linkup this week with J Petite and Pucker Up Style! The themes for this week are scarves and glitter eyeliner. Well, if you frequent my blog often, you know that I'm more of a scarf aficionado than I am with glitter eyeliner, so I figured I would stick with what I'm good at and style one of my favorite scarves for you!

This past Saturday was our Camaro Club's holiday party. It was casual at a nearby winery. I didn't want to have to worry about lugging around a thick winter coat, so I knew I would be wearing one of my moto jackets. Blanket scarves and moto jackets are the perfect combo. Why, you ask? Well, on their own, my Express minus-the leather jackets aren't the most warm pieces in the wintertime, especially when the temps dip down into the single digits. But blanket scarves are so incredibly warm, that they more than compensate for what the moto jackets may lack.

Can we talk about my hair for a second? The husband got me the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer for Christmas. Yes, definitely an investment piece, so it's tough for me to encourage you all to go out and buy it!! However, for those that are interested in it, I do love it. It dries my hair in 5 MINUTES. No lie. I even documented that fact on Snapchat showing before and after photos with the timestamp on them. My hair is not stick straight, there is a slight kink to the ends, but it's usually pretty frizzy after I blow-dry it with other dryers. For this outfit, I didn't use a flat iron on my hair at all, just the blow dryer. I sprayed some dry volume spray at the crown of my head and spritzed my hair with some hair spray, but otherwise, there are no smoothing products at all in my hair. That's pretty amazing if you ask me.

These shoes and this clutch are the perfect holiday party accessories. So glad I snagged both of them! Together, they are a dynamic duo! And, despite the fact that I was standing the majority of the night, my feet did not hurt one bit. I thank the non-skid soles and the chunky block heel! I scored them on Black Friday and they aren't available in this exact color anymore, but they do come in black and cognac suede. They fit true to size for me, and they're under $60!

I have all three colors of these knit jeggings now from American Eagle. They have a functional button and front zipper as well as real back pockets. Any skinny pants that stay completely fitted through my knees and ankles are my best friends. If you're interested, they run true to size and I buy them in the "short" length.

Even though this blanket scarf is ginormous, I like that I can tie it so it looks tidy around my neck. You can catch my blanket scarf tying tutorial in this post here.

That's all I have for you today! Be sure you link up below then hop on over to see what J Petite and Pucker Up Style are wearing!
