How gorgeous are these ladies! It's quite intimidating to be quite honest! I can't tell you how much fun this collaboration was! I wanted to save the best for last, and these group shots are frame-worthy! Even though it was pretty cold outside and the sun chose not to make an appearance, we still managed to have a lot of fun with it!
Cardigan: H&M (similar chunky knit cardigan here) | Necklaces: Kendra Scott (long here) (short: try the Kendra Scott Nora or the Kendra Scott Amanda in gold) | Dress: Forever 21 (floral maxi dress option here or shop more here) | Boots: Naya (other colors here)
For this shoot, I decided to pull out some old favorites. This maxi dress is SO old (see it here and in an even older post here), but it's been such a good piece and has been pretty timeless in its print and fit that I am not even close to being ready to part with it seven years later. I loved how it paired with the chunky cardigan and boots! Seriously the most perfect combo for carefree, outdoor photos! And I gotta say, it was quite the workout trying to pose nonchalantly in a hammock!
I've been blogging for three years now, so you think I would be ready to talk about it openly with friends and co-workers, but the fact is, I still get quite embarrassed by it. Shopping and outfits of the day seem so superficial and trivial. Especially since I can tell you what someone wore yesterday but I couldn't tell you what so-and-so said during the last Presidential debate. Yeah, this fashion blog may not be rocket science, but this year I'm really trying to work on my confidence and not being so self-deprecating when it comes to speaking (or avoiding to speak) about my hobby. The husband's hobby is all about his Camaro and the next modification he wants to do. He never tires of speaking about that to anyone at any time. Why are my interests any different? I am pretty sure the husband is more openly proud of my blog than I am!
I tell you all of this because blogging is way more than just frivolous and superficial gratification. I have said time and time again that the people I have met and relationships that I have built all because of blogging have been invaluable. I remember doing a search for St. Louis bloggers when I first started my own and I came across Jacqueline's blog. I remember being envious because I loved her style and wanted to be a part of St. Louis Fashion week just like she was! And here we are, sitting in a hammock like BFFs. The magic of blogging, I tell ya.
Side note: If you're on the hunt for a new camera bag/ purse, I highly recommend the Lo & Sons Claremont Crossbody. I have been taking it to blogger events with me and it's the perfect size. Carrying a camera around can be very awkward and clumsy, especially when you're trying to mingle, which usually involves a cocktail. This bag keeps me organized, provides for quick access to my DSLR, and still makes me feel stylish and put together when I carry it.

I hope you've enjoyed following along on this local blogger collaboration shoot! I'm sad to write this post since this concludes the fun series! But alas, we aren't leaving you empty handed. It's not often that the five of us collaborate much less get together, so we thought it was only appropriate to end with a bang and host a giveaway! The winner will receive a $100 gift card to Nordstrom along with the handful of goodies pictured below graciously donated by Kendra Scott. Enter using the Rafflecopter below! You do not need to perform all tasks to enter, though the more tasks you complete means more entries you submit to win! Good luck!
