The perfect coat that I #FoundAtSimon

J.Crew Factory plaid shirt, Express fringe mini skirt

And poof! Just like that, it's December and your Instagram feed is filled with Christmas trees, mugs being held in front of Christmas trees, and aerial views of mugs being held in bed with fluffy marshmallows and cozy knee high socks! Somewhere in the mix you will also get to see sparkly, fun holiday outfits! Enter this outfit!

This past Saturday, the kind folks at Simon and St. Louis Premium Outlets invited me to attend another blogger event, this time focused on the Joy of Giving! They gave us gift cards to shop along with a swag bag of goodies in exchange for us posting our finds on our blogs and social media accounts. Considering that sharing my shopping finds with you guys is pretty second nature anyway, I was more than happy to attend the event and hold up my end of the bargain. In fact, I kind of feel like I am robbing them! The St. Louis Premium Outlets are always full of hidden treasures and I knew I would come home with some amazing pieces!

Sunnies: TOMS | Necklace: Express (option) | Bag: BCBGeneration | Top: J.Crew Factory | Jacket: BCBG (c/o St. Louis Premium Outlets) | Skirt: Express (option, option) | Shoes: Gianni Bini

Because I had so much success over the summer at Saks Off 5th, I decided to start there. I tried on a ton of shoes - my best finds were a couple of pairs of Frye boots for $200 and some change and a pair of navy Stuart Weitzman OTK boots for $300! I was crying when I saw the SW boots were a size 7. No size 6s to be found or else they would have come home with me FOR SURE! I ended up not finding anything that screamed my name, so I decided to keep my options open and continue to shop.

BCBG leather sleeve moto jacket

I was really on the hunt for something festive that I could wear to an upcoming holiday party. I wasn't having any luck until I made my way into BCBG. I have a black wool dress coat, but it's a bit cheap and there are holes in the pockets. Plus the snap buttons always come undone when I'm wearing it so I had to add a makeshift belt onto it. Needless to say, I needed a new black dress coat and this coat IS AMAZING guys. It's pure heaven. The moto details make my heart happy and the fit is divine. The best part is that it's a $600 jacket but thanks to discounts on top of sale prices along with the gift card we were given, I paid exactly $0 for this coat. !!!!! Talk about the joy of giving!

When I was styling this outfit for this flat lay, I pulled out my gold pointy toe pumps because they looked the best. But when I was trying everything on, my new velvet Mary Janes were the perfect finishing touch! They balanced and grounded the look more than the gold did, and let's face it, the velvet is TDF!

Thanks so so much to Simon and St. Louis Premium Outlets for sponsoring this post! Oh! Before I go, if you're ever at one of the Simon mall properties, be sure to post your goodies using the hashtag #FoundAtSimon! It means more to them than you know!
