Random roundup

(See outfit details below)

Well, this is it!! I leave tonight for Boulder and I will be doing my final practical (teaching a full mat and reformer class to one client) tomorrow at noon and then my final performance (doing the Level 4 reformer repertoire) on my own Wednesday at noon. I'm anxious, excited, ready-ish. I had my last lesson with my host advisor on Friday and it went well, though Pilates is such a learning experience and there were tons of things I learned in that class alone that I can hopefully remember as I am doing my performance on Wednesday. Ahhhh!! Anyway, more about that after it's all said and done. Clearly it's all that has been on my mind lately! I do have all my outfits I wore every day last week to share with you before I go, so let's get started!

Necklace: Kendra Scott "Carole" (similar) | Sweater: Halogen (option, option) | Bottoms: American Eagle | Heels: Kate Spade "Licorice" (other colors here)

It's that time of year when my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale purchases start getting put to good use! This sweater was one of those purchases, and it was worth the wait to finally get to wear it. I love that it is a simple navy sweater, but the sleeves add the drama. I struggled with shoes for this outfit. I tried on grey over the knee boots but they made the outfit silhouette look super heavy. I tried grey booties, but felt they made my legs look stubby. I tried nude peep toe booties, but they looked too washed out and unbalanced with the navy sweater. I tried on these same pumps but in pink, but it felt way too spring for my taste at the moment. I finally landed on this silver pair and threw in the necklace to balance out the silver near my face. I was happy with the silver pointy toes!

Earrings: Nickel and Suede | Cardigan: Grace and Lace | Necklace: BaubleBar | Cami: Express | Leggings: Zella | Boots: Dolce Vita (option, option)

This is the same cami I am wearing in this post here, and I am loving it! It is the prettiest color and I love it with a chunky cardigan and over the knee boots. I was teaching a Pilates class at the office this day and figured leggings would be easy so I would only have to change my top (and ditch the boots) to teach.

Earrings: Nickel and Suede (c/o) | Sweater: CS Gems | Jeans: American Eagle (other washes here) | Boots: Vince Camuto "Hollie" (option)

The start of the new season is always fun because you can dust off some of your favorite pieces like this sweater (last seen on the blog here) and these boots that I have in grey also (as you will see in the next outfit!) I'm glad over the knee boots and cold shoulders are still a thing, though I would probably still wear them regardless because I'm still obsessed! I love over the knee boots with jeans because you don't have to worry about the weird bunching at the knee that happens often with knee-high boots.

Flannel: American Eagle (current colors here) | Tank: Lululemon | Leggings: Zella | Boots: Vince Camuto (option)

The boys at the office have deemed Fridays "Flannel Friday" and who am I to turn down a style challenge! It was also convenient because I had my mid-day Pilates class, so I literally just threw the flannel over my workout outfit and then added the over-the-knee boots to finish it off. I love it when workout to real life is just that simple!

Jacket: Express (current colors here) | Sweater: American Eagle | Leggings: Lululemon | Sneakers: Nike Free RN

Here is a bonus outfit from this weekend. We only meant to run out and grab some brunch but then I convinced the husband to go to the mall with me which turned into us visiting two separate malls and then getting a late lunch! People ask what I wear when I have no time to get ready, and this is what it would be! Athleisure + a cap is the best weekend outfit ever. Oh! But speaking of our mall trip, I can share some of my purchases.

You may be able to see in the first outfit, I'm wearing the Kendra Scott "Beckett" double ring. Her double rings are my absolute favorite to wear because it easily dresses up your hands with no more effort than wearing a single ring! Well, I wore it two days in a row, and the second day, I was squeezing it for a better fit around my finger and it broke! I had it for about three years, so it certainly lived a good life, but I was so bummed! I took it into the store to see if there was anything they could do to fix it. Unfortunately, they could not, but they ended up giving me credit for the FULL price of the ring! How awesome is that?! I decided to replace it with another double ring. I already have the Naomi in gold but figured the black drusy would be a nice addition! I love good customer service stories like that and brands that stand behind the quality of their products!

Clarisonic replacement heads - I love my Clarisonic, I've been using it longer than I've been blogging, but I'm not the best at changing out the heads. I'm trying to be better at it, hence the two-pack purchase!

Urban Decay De-Slick primer - I have been wanting a face primer because I feel like I don't look like I'm even wearing foundation by 9am. It just slides off my face. I've tried a few by Smashbox with not much success. Since I love UD eye primer so much, I decided to give their face primer a try. The reviews are ALL over the place. People either love it or hate it, so it will be interesting to see how I end up liking it.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow primer - When I presented to the moms group at a local church, they asked about my makeup must haves, and this eyeshadow primer was first on my list. I can't live without it. I basically know I will have raccoon eyes if I forget to apply the primer during my makeup routine. It's seriously my holy grail.

Kendra Scott "Damon" necklace - I forgot to use my 50% off birthday month discount at Kendra Scott, and since we were already at the store for my ring and November is the husband's birthday month, I figured I would kill two birds with one stone! And this emerald glass pendant is gorgeous! I don't have a long pendant this color and since it's adjustable, it's like getting 3487786 necklaces for the price of one! Except 50% off the price of one!

Ok! That's all I have for you today!! Wish me luck this week!!!
