Bow-sleeved top

Hello and happy Monday! Springing forward is my most favorite time of the year, and I feel like I'm in the minority on that one, but it is totally true! I love the longer days and it just makes me feel refreshed for warmer weather and productivity! But, if you look closely in these photos, you'll see that it was snowing. Not really my idea of spring, but the blogging show must go on!

Outfit details--- Sunnies: Vince Camuto | Necklace: Kendra Scott "Damon" | Bag: Stella and Dot "Taj" clutch (budget options here and here) | Top: Chelsea28 | Bracelet: Kendra Scott "Candice"Bottoms: American Eagle (option) | Shoes: Kate Spade (option, option---

There's a covered bus terminal near the house, so we went there to try and get some cover from the wet snow. It was in the 50s and sunny on Saturday, but quickly changed by yesterday morning. We were meeting Carrie and Stacy from CS Gems for brunch, and without even looking outside or at the weather, I threw on this top that you saw in last week's dressing room diaries post here, and grabbed this clutch to be extra springy!

Jacket: Gap (similar)

The top is a sweatshirt material but with these poplin bow sleeves that peek out. The sleeves are definitely the best part, so I had to bite the bullet for a bit a take a few pics with my jacket off so you could better appreciate the details. I love pairing navy with olives, turquoises, and mints. The fun clutch adds a pop of color, texture, and interest to the very simple outfit.

Luckily the snow didn't stick, so I was fine in heels walking from the car to the restaurant. Still bummed though that it was wet and gloomy, but mimosas helped!

Everyone keeps saying it, but I seriously cannot believe it is already March! Mid-March at that! Easter will be here, then Memorial Day, then summer. Holy crap! It's been so busy at the office that time really is flying. I set a deadline for myself for last Friday, which I was able to meet and I was super excited about it. Still a lot of work left to do, but it felt good to get a big portion of it out. Work travel will be picking up for the balance of the month, so I know I will be constantly playing catch up. I had a few things to wrap up for the office over the weekend, which takes time away from the blog, so this will be the only post you see this week. Have a good one! Hope it's productive for you as well!

  5. This time of year makes me incredibly cranky!!! LOL! It's the only time of year I wish I didn't live in the northeast. I love it here all other 4 seasons, but spring takes an AGE to arrive. You look adorable. Cute clutch! ;-)

  6. The details on that top are just so cute, and I LOVE that pendant. I hope you wear it for St Patrick's Day! Also, kinda sorry to hear you'll be traveling up a storm again! I was hoping you'd get more of a break than this, but well. Reality bites. We've known that since the 90s. LOL.
