Not that complicated

Necklace: Stella and Dot (option) | Tunic: H&M | Ring: BCBG (option) | Crackle leggings: Express (option) | Booties: Sam Edelman (option)

I was doing so great last week picking out my outfits every night before I went to sleep. Yesterday I felt so behind on life in general, that I just decided to chance it and go to sleep with no outfit in mind. Of course this morning led to me throwing clothes everywhere searching for inspiration, trying to overcomplicate this process known as "getting dressed." Finally, 20 minutes later, I decided to just wear my new sweatshirt tunic from H&M plus crackle leggings, plus these wedge booties. 20 minutes. 20 minutes just to end up in a sweatshirt and leggings. The end result is awesome - I love this outfit! I just hate that I had to try all the wrong things just to get to the simplest of answers.

    1. Thanks so much! And yes, perfect tunic! I was afraid it would be dress length on my short legs!

  3. I love sweater dresses, they're so perfect for my student life (so easy to wear, and instantly chic with a nice pair of heels or boots).

  5. Ughh....I hate those frustrating mornings where it takes way too long just to put on clothes. But you look great and it's not really JUST a sweatshirt and leggings when you're wearing scuba leggings, if you ask me. :) Scuba leggings are not for beginners. :)

    1. Ahh if I woke up early enough to take my time, I would always choose outfits in the morning! One less thing to do at night! Unfortunately I'm always running late! Ugh!
Thanks for the comment! I do really like the sweater so so much!

  10. You look cute and comfortable, which is a double win! Every so often, my husband finds me sitting in my closet in my underwear having a breakdown because I can't figure out what to wear. For some reason it really sends me into a tailspin. You look fabulous!

  12. I know...doesn't it always turn out like that? You waste your time trying on every piece of clothing you own...just to wind up in something comfortable! Anyway, you look cute and you previous post with the red boots and scarf was sooo cute. :)

    1. Thanks, Merrie! I think I just try not to reach for the "easy" pieces, but I have to remind myself that sometimes easy is just fine!!
