Pulse

Confession: When I was originally putting together my Barbie pinspired outfit from Monday, the outfit I *really* wanted to replicate was this one here. But the problem was that I didn't own a leather/faux leather jacket that color! I've been admiring this one from Express, but I wasn't sure if I really needed this exact jacket in a THIRD color, so I've been trying to hold out. But alas, shopping fate stepped in and I found this one over the weekend.

Earrings: Express (option, budget option) | Scarf: Gifted (option) | Jacket: Pulse | Top: JCrew FactorySkirt: American Eagle (option, option) | Booties: Sam Edelman (option)

Participating in St. Louis Fashion Week gave me the urge to not only network with local bloggers on a regular basis, but also support local businesses more as well. So, when Pulse contacted me about a potential partnership, I was certainly open to the opportunity.

Pulse is a boutique located in Chesterfield, MO, a suburb of St. Louis. They've been around for about 8 years now and carry some of the brands I already know and love (Bailey 44, Joe's, Free People, to name a few) as well as lower price point products that are unique but still on trend. They even have their own line called Vintage Highway, which consists of super soft, vintage inspired, tee shirts.

Although they have just this one location, you can shop their products online at PulseStl.com. But what's even more fun are their social media flash sales Sunday and Wednesday nights. They select a handful of items before they hit the stores and post them on their Facebook and Instagram pages at exclusive prices - everything is less than $50. I won't go into all the details of how these sales work, but you can read the entire scoop here. What a great way to promote the business and keep your customers engaged and excited!

So where do I come into this mix? I have the fun task of giving their followers ideas on how to build outfits around these pieces through style inspiration boards. This past Sunday was my first stab at this - you can see one set on my Facebook page here and the second on Instagram here. This could be a dangerous mission for me and my wallet because I found myself fighting the urge to buy the pieces I was styling, but I love the challenge.

The jacket had me at, "Hello."

Just wanted to share my newest endeavor with you guys and hope you find some style inspiration and maybe even new additions to your closet along the way! I am not being compensated for this post. I purchased this jacket with my own money, but was graciously given a 20% discount. Regardless, all views expressed in this post are my own! I'm really excited to see how this partnership develops, not only because I hope to provide value to their business, but also because I've discovered yet another place to shop!
