Hello Monday: Charming Charlie

Sunnies: Ray Ban | Necklace: Charming Charlie (c/o) | Bag: Charming Charlie (c/o) | Top: Charming Charlie (c/o) | Rings: Charming Charlie (c/o) | Bottoms: Express (option) | Heels: Louise et Cie (other colors here)

Disclosure: Charming Charlie gifted me these pieces in promotion of their local store opening. There was no obligation to post, and all opinions expressed are my own.

Charming Charlie recently reached out to me asking if they could send me some pieces to try. I was instantly excited at the opportunity to collaborate with them! The husband works in commercial real estate and knows of Charming Charlie, so it makes it even more rewarding when HE gets excited since it's a brand with which he's also familiar!  I've been to a couple of their stores in the past and knew that they carried on trend but affordable products. In my head I equated them to Forever 21, but with an even heavier focus on jewelry and other accessories. I will be honest and say that outside of mentioning my size, I picked nothing out - they simply packed a mystery box full of goodness, and I couldn't have been more pleased or impressed!

I was hesitant with the clothes, thinking everything would fit more like juniors sizing. I was wrong though - I was sent this sweater I'm wearing today, this tank seen in last week's post, and a dress that you will see later this week - everything fit like normal, and my usual size fit perfectly. No sizing up was required.

And let's just talk about the accessories for a second here. I adore this quilted clutch! The color is perfect (and my weakness) and the shape and handle are different than any of the other billion bags in my collection, so I was also very excited to pull this out of the box.

I have a lot of detail shots in today's post because they're just too good not to share. There were a handful of other fun jewelry items they sent me that I'm excited to wear soon!

And just a little side story before I continue. Last week, I was in Boston and Providence traveling for work. I was meeting up with one of our (male) vendors in Providence. As I was packing for the trip, I was THISCLOSE to packing this exact outfit with the striped sweater and wine skinnies, but decided against it at the last second. Well, I'm waiting for my contact in his office lobby, and the second he walks out, I was so relieved I hadn't worn this. He was basically wearing the male version of this sweater - these exact colors, burgundy and grey. CAN YOU IMAGINE? That would have been so embarrassing! I'm not sure who would be more embarrassed!

If you live in the St. Louis metro east area, there will be a new Charming Charlie store opening at St. Clair Square in Fairview Heights on Monday, November 2nd, one week from today! They will be celebrating their grand opening on Saturday, November 7th by offering the first 100 customers an exclusive discount ranging from $5 to $100 of their purchase! Needless to say, you know where I will be in a couple weeks! You should stop in also!

Man, between the new Ikea, Kendra Scott, and now this Charming Charlie, I may need to pull a second job!

  1. haha just as well you didn't unintentionally match, that would have been an awkward meeting!

That aside, it's a great top! I bought something really similar at the start of winter here but I ended up returning it because I really don't need any more tops, I hadn't worn the ones I'd bought the month before yet!

Thank you for the link up!

  13. That's too funny about the vendor you almost matched--that would have been probably more embarrassing for him! I love this look (that wine color, can't get enough!) and am impressed that even the sweater is Charming Charlie. I didn't know they carried clothes--that is cute!
