Two dresses in one week, are you surprised? I ordered this dress through one of the Shopbop sales a few months ago because I had a bachelorette party to go to and they requested we wear all black so that the bride could stand out in her all white outfit. The party was this weekend, and thankfully, I'm nine pounds lighter than when I first received the dress, so it fit a lot more comfortably than it did originally! Yay for that!

I mentioned yesterday that I scored these pumps for half off a couple weekends ago. Well, they arrived two days before the party and I couldn't wait to take them out on their maiden voyage. Especially since I'm not usually an LBD type of girl when it comes to special occasions  so I had to make sure my heels made a statement! I got this clutch as a bridesmaids' gift and naturally I had to wear it with the matching heels, duh! This duo made for quite the conversation starter for the night. I received oodles of comments and compliments about them, and I can't say I'm surprised. They're both delicious, and frankly, glitter just makes everything better.

I debated on wearing a necklace with this dress, but the neckline was too special so I decided to just let it speak for itself. The statement earrings worked well though, and I loved that you could still see them through my big hair. Also, I am happy to say I'm not even wearing Spanx with this dress. I just LOVE Bailey 44 dresses. They're so comfortable, figure flattering, and very forgiving. I'm not quite at my goal weight yet, but this dress made me feel confident regardless!

We ended up having cocktails at this placed called Planter's House, and it was pretty amazing. My cocktail of choice was called the Old Cuban, and it was basically a mojito topped with champagne. Yep, just as yummy as it sounds. We stayed there for about an hour then had a murder mystery dinner at the Bissell Mansion. It's the second one that I've been to, and so much fun! I definitely recommend if you're in need of a group event!
