Kendra Scott Summer 2016 Collection

Well, 12 weeks have already passed and a new Kendra Scott collection has launched! It certainly doesn't seem that long since the last collection was released, especially since there are still things that I have on my wish list for spring! But, like clockwork, the Summer 2016 pieces are out, and they definitely do not disappoint. This collection was inspired by a trip Kendra Scott took to the French Riviera. You can see the entire Kendra Scott Summer 2016 collection for yourself online, but I snapped a few photos of some of my favorites! Let's get started!

The metals in this collection are to die for. Seriously. This necklace was definitely a show stopper for me, as was its counterpart, the Monroe bracelet. Mixing metals is my favorite, and this chunky statement piece is way too good. It's not as heavy as you would imagine it to be either, which is great. Definitely going on my wish list!!

This is probably not a good thing for me to be writing this post because the more I stare at these pieces, the more I feel like I NEED them. This necklace is so versatile and awesome. The tassel is removable, so it's basically like you're getting four necklaces in one --- wear it double looped or single looped with or without the tassel. You can even make the tassel a charm for your purse if you want. I love options. Sadly, I decided not to splurge on this (yet) but I did bring home the Mia bracelet which is just as fun!

I love that there is now a short necklace option in this filigree style. Super temping, especially since it would layer so well with the long version I already have.

A new Kendra Scott collection would not be complete without interesting stones added to the mix. This variegated teal magnesite is gorgeous and stunning and everything I crave in a teal piece of jewelry. If I hadn't already splurged on the Mia bracelet  (or the Danielle earrings in Black Pearl), then I would have added something in this stone to my collection.

And of course the cuffs are always tempting for me. I really love the blue stone against the gold. It looks stunning on and would be a great piece on its own. It doesn't need much else to supplement it. And it would have gone well with my outfit I was wearing!

I originally planned to just show up in my Cardinals gear because after the event, I was headed to pick up the husband then drive downtown for the Cardinals game. But I received a package from Charming Charlie in the mail that had this top in it and it just looked so delicate and perfect for previewing a summer collection! I added pops of mint and teal and pinned my hair to one side so you could appreciate the shoulder cut outs. I might be a shoulder-cut-out convert! I really, really love this top!

Anyway! The only other thing I went home with that I didn't mention above is the Scottie necklace. I loved it because it's unlike anything I already own. It's basically a half moon bar necklace that is adjustable so you can wear it short or long. There are pave sparkles in it that make it a little more special. My necklaces usually have a pendant of some sort on them, so I liked that this one was different. Plus, it's adjustable! That part gets me to cave every time!

Have you bought anything from this new collection? I would love to hear what you have your eye on.
