Pinspiration + wear it now/wear it later

Left: Yasi from Hello, Gorgeous (source) | Right: From Mint and Chevron (here)

Sweater: NM Last Call | Button-up: Banana Republic | Necklace: Express | Cocktail Ring: Forever 21 | Skirt: Express (option) | Tights: Target (option) | Booties: Sam Edelman (option)

The last time I wore this skirt on the blog, it was a little bit warmer outside. I'm such a fan of remixing pieces for warm and cold months. When I came across Yasi's outfit here, I knew this was how I wanted to wear it again. I'll admit that I specially sought and bought this necklace with this outfit in mind, however, it's a pretty fabulous necklace-- I know it will get lots of use outside of simply trying to replicate this look. I will say though that this outfit had quite a lot of layers - tights, full slip, skirt, button up, sweater - I was pretty sweaty getting ready this morning. It wasn't until I got in my car that I saw the temperature was 27 degrees. Holy crap. Not quite sure I'm ready for this winter business.

  7. Love! I like how you made the skirt shorter with tights.

I sent DH a similar necklace to my husband to get me for my birthday or christmas.

    1. Ha! I honestly didn't realize the skirt length ended up changing with the two looks! It's probably bc my tights were pulled up so high! Haha
      Hope you get your necklace!!
