Flat Lays lately

I haven't done a flat lay roundup in awhile, so I thought this would be a good way to recap a few things I have worn on the blog while sharing some of the pieces in a more detailed view! I've said before that it's funny that different photo types and layouts resonate with people in varying ways. The same outfit posted in a top down view or a flat lay can be more highly engaging than a traditional mirror selfie or proper blog photo. Except it's all the same outfit! So, in the spirit of trying to inspire you in every way, here are some flat lays lately!

Worn in blog post here
Outfit details--- Sunnies: Ray Ban (shop more Ray Ban sunnies here) | Necklace: Charming Charlie (c/o) | Pouch: Kate Spade (other floral options here and here) | Top: Halogen | Bottoms: AG Jeans | Heels: Kate Spade (budget option here---

I still really love this outfit! I posted it on the blog here and even though it's such a simple outfit combo, it may be one of my most favorite outfits I've worn on the blog to date. I think it's just because there are so many fun things to look at and get your attention.

Sunnies: Oakley | Necklace: Kendra Scott | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff (other colors here) | Romper: Gap | Shoes: Marc Fisher(other colors here)

Next up is my new favorite romper that I featured in yesterday's post here! I hope you're able to score this romper in one (or all) of the colors because it really is a collector's piece! And don't get me started on the wedges!!

Necklace: Stella and Dot (bib necklace options here and here) | Top: Express (similar here) | Bottoms: Express (option) | Shoes: Saint Laurent

This was my lunch date outfit with Jenna that I blogged about here. The flat lay really doesn't do this outfit justice. It's hard to flat lay black and white pieces because things get washed out and don't read properly. But, does it really matter when you have shoes as fabulous as these? I think not.

Top: Charming Charlie (c/o) | Bag: Clare V (c/o Shopbop) | Necklace: Kendra Scott (gifted) | Shorts: Gap | Sandals: American Eagle (option)

This was the outfit I wore for Father's Day. I probably should have gotten proper photos of it, but I'm sure the front view mirror selfie will make it in a random roundup soon! This top is very 80s retro to me! It reminds me of rainbow flip flops from back in the day! And the side ties are a nice little detail.

And look what we have here. The week comes full circle with this outfit from Monday's post here. Speaking of outfits I am obsessed with! I've gotten so many compliments on this shirt, too! Sadly, sizes are limited, but I'm hoping that you can find one in store. It's a really good floral print. Even the husband liked it!

That's all for today! I have a lot going on this weekend with a bridal shower tomorrow and then I really need to crack down on some event planning for my yoga workshop! It will be here before I know it and I want to nail down some specifics with goodie bags and refreshments! I really wish I could fly all my internet friends in for the day! It would be so fun!! Have a great weekend!
