On Saturday, I got to meet up with Jenna for a late lunch! It was nice because I feel like we haven't gotten to see each other in forever! She found this adorable place called Revel on Yelp, and it definitely did not disappoint! Oddly enough, it was in the 90's but it still felt comfortable in the shade, so we got to enjoy lunch on the patio!

If you've been to Crazy Bowls and Wraps, I feel like this is a very similar concept. You start with the type of meal you want - a bowl, a wrap, or they even do omelets! I decided to do a bowl. Then you pick your grain. I chose cauli-rice because I've only ever had cauliflower mash before and Rachelle has been teasing me with cauli-rice. Next up is protein. Jenna said their bacon had an awesome reputation, so I picked bacon! And finally, you pick the style you want it cooked which determines your seasoning. I picked "Southern" which had cabbage, southern greens, onions, and smoked sweet potatoes! Naturally, I had to get a side of sprouts because sprouts are my fave. Oh, and I decided to add an egg on top! I had to share Jenna's awesome photo of our little buffet we had going on, but here is a better view of my plate, since I had basically inhaled mine by the time she took her photo!!
Oh! This photo reminded me that I also tried their "Bugsy" juice which was made from oranges, ginger, and pineapple. It was also quite delicious! I would definitely go back there again, hopefully soon!
After we had lunch, we did what any normal pair of friends would do and took turns taking outfit photos of each other. Naturally! It was kind of funny because there was a man walking by and he asked if we needed him to take a photo of both of us together! Sweet gesture, but I don't quite think he understood the purpose of our photos. Ha! Really, I just needed to document my new Tribute sandals. If you remember, I also have them in colorblock. The second I saw this camo version on sale, I knew they had to be mine!!
I promise you they are way way more comfortable than they look! The heel height is quite intimidating but the platform really helps take the edge off. Plus, they're suede so they instantly molded to my feet. I absolutely love them.

All in all, it was a pretty good lunch date! Still super thankful to have Jenna in the same city as me! She was joking on Snapchat about how I showed up in these shoes but she was wearing her Tevas. But the thing is, I like wearing heels around her because she's so dang tall and being in these makes me at least feel like an adult around her! Sadly, despite the extra 5 inches, she's still taller!! Ah, short people problems!
Happy hump day!
