I always love collaborating with The Mint Julep Boutique because they have the cutest pieces! I was sifting through their new releases and this dress immediately caught my eye. It screams "vacation" and I'm totally vacation-mode focused at the moment! The colors are so fun, and admittedly, I don't have enough of this shade of green in my closet. The high-low hem is so dramatic, and you know I am all about drama when it comes to my outfits! The fact that it's off-the-shoulder just sealed the deal for me. Such a beautiful dress!

Floral cold shoulder dress
Hello, Monday! So nice of you to join us again... so soon nonetheless! I spent the weekend fighting a head cold or allergies or whatever it is. Neither of which I really have time for at the moment, but I'm trying to push through! I wanted to share another piece from The Mint Julep Boutique with you, so let's get started!

Olive and green + monogram kicks
I realize I had three blog posts last week, but because I haven't actually taken proper blog photos in a couple of weeks, I feel like I haven't blogged in awhile! It always feels good to get back into the saddle. Though admittedly, it's been raining for a good two weeks now, making blog photos stupid, and us having to be creative on where we can catch some outfit photos without getting drenched. The struggle is real guys. This is my typical weekend uniform and it makes me happy. I really don't know why I didn't turn to baseball caps sooner in life!

The softest t-shirt tunic

Outfit details--- Sunnies: Tom Ford "Iris" | Necklace: Kendra Scott (over half off!) (c/o) | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff | Tunic: The Mint Julep Boutique (c/o) | Bracelet: Charming Charlie (c/o) | Moto Leggings: BP (similar here) | Booties: Vince Camuto "Katleen" (limited sizes) (other option here) ---
Funny how September 1st gets here and all of a sudden Mother Nature decides to bring us the most perfect weather ever. My idea of perfect is warmish in the day time, temps in the 70s, minimal humidity, sunny, and beautiful. Then once the sun starts to set, there is a hint of coolness in the air that is not quite sweatshirt worthy, but a lightweight long sleeved top will leave you perfectly comfy. That's how summers in Michigan used to be. Summers in St. Louis have been that way as well, but there are usually a few days of crazy hot, humid heat mixed in there, too. This summer has been unbearable and the hot humid days were more of the rule instead of the exception. So, while I am not 100% mentally ready for fall, I welcomed to beautiful weather this weekend!

Hello Monday: the cold shoulder
Guess who is back at the playground? This elementary school is on the way to one of the restaurants we regularly go to for breakfast, and since it has been awhile since the last time we took photos here, we thought we'd do it all again! Except I didn't actually play around this time, just blog business. I gotta say, I am ridiculously obsessed with this outfit. OBSESSED. Clearly I am embracing this cold shoulder trend. When the girls at The Mint Julep Boutique reached out to me for a second collaboration, I had a handful of things I was eyeing (like this romper and this crochet number), but then I came across this top and I was sold. Stripes *and* a cold shoulder? It had my name written all over it.

Manic Monday: The Mint Julep Boutique Giveaway
I'm taking a little break from the #RemixFix2015 challenge to bring you this adorable plaid cape from The Mint Julep Boutique. I love love love my blanket scarves and wearing them as a shawl, but those things are for real blankets. What's great about this poncho is that it is pretty lightweight, so it will work as a great transition piece into the spring. The color combination of this plaid is perfectly versatile. It was a no brainer to pair it with this pinstripe top.
Sunnies: Tom Ford | Scarf: Old Navy (option) | Cape: C/O The Mint Julep Boutique | Bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim | Top: BP (option) | Bottoms: Express (option) | Boots: Frye
I'm a little bit embarrassed to say that I haven't shopped The Mint Julep Boutique before, and I feel like I may be the last woman standing who hasn't! When they asked if I wanted to collaborate with them, I immediately fell in love with so many things on their site. It's basically a one stop shop for all things good - from accessories to clothing to shoes.
Lucky for you, The Mint Julep Boutique was nice enough to offer one of my readers a $25 gift card. Since all their products are crazy affordable, this $25 will go a long way. I hope that some of my favorites above inspire you to shop! The giveaway will run for one week and is open to US residents only. Enter using the Rafflecopter below, and GOOD LUCK!
