Floral off the shoulder dress

The Mint Julep Boutique dress review

I always love collaborating with The Mint Julep Boutique because they have the cutest pieces! I was sifting through their new releases and this dress immediately caught my eye. It screams "vacation" and I'm totally vacation-mode focused at the moment! The colors are so fun, and admittedly, I don't have enough of this shade of green in my closet. The high-low hem is so dramatic, and you know I am all about drama when it comes to my outfits! The fact that it's off-the-shoulder just sealed the deal for me. Such a beautiful dress!

Floral cold shoulder dress

Hello, Monday! So nice of you to join us again... so soon nonetheless! I spent the weekend fighting a head cold or allergies or whatever it is. Neither of which I really have time for at the moment, but I'm trying to push through! I wanted to share another piece from The Mint Julep Boutique with you, so let's get started!

Bold on bold

Gibson x Living in Yellow Elizabeth Date night top outfit

I was going back and forth about what to wear for Easter. We were celebrating with the husband's family like usual, and they aren't super dressy, though I do like to add in my zest regardless! I caved and bought this top from the Gibson x Living in Yellow collection at Nordstrom. I got to meet Erin at the rewardStyle conference last year, so it's been so fun to follow along on this journey of hers. The collection is full of great basics - much of which I already had in my closet, BUT! When the second releases came out, I saw this top and, well. I can't have enough off the shoulder in my closet, so I decided to give it a go! When I was laying in bed Easter morning, I remembered this top just arrived this week and the bold color was just what I was in the mood for!

Weekend rips + Sugarfix

Yep, you guys are actually getting three outfit posts from me this week. I appreciate you all hanging in there with me over the last few weeks as well as in the weeks to come as I continue to juggle and figure out my schedule. I've really been trying to focus on Pilates when I'm not at work with the end of my certification around the corner, and it's definitely proven to be both time consuming and tiring, especially when I add the blog onto it. It's like having three jobs, basically! So anyway, I've said a million times that I hate having a sporadic blog schedule, but I also can't let myself get stressed out when I can't post. Ain't nobody got time for more stress! Okidoke, let's get on with this outfit.

The perfect black romper

gap jersey knit scoop back romper, soludos

This weekend, I'm headed to Vegas for a bachelorette party! I've been mentally packing for the last couple of weeks, and warm weather trips always make me reach for lightweight rompers. I came across this one last week and ordered it immediately. I loved that it had a normal top (i.e. I don't have to wear a strapless bra with it), it has pockets, and it has a scoop back for added interest. It arrived this weekend, and I loved it so much! Hence why I just ordered it in grey also!

Hello Monday: STLFW Wrap party

Sunnies: TOMS | Earrings: Forever 21 | Necklace: Bauble Bar | Bag: Charming Charlie (shop more fringe cross body bags HERE) | Top: H&M (shop more stripe turtlenecks HERE) | Bracelets: Misc handful from my collection | Skort: Express (option) | Boots: Vince Camuto (option, shop more over the knee boots HERE)

I'm sharing my fashion week highlights a little bit out of order because this outfit was too good to not share on a Hello Monday! If you'd like to catch yourself up, you can see my favorites from the Emerging Designer Competition here. Saturday was dinner and a wrap party for Saint Louis Fashion Week at Ballpark Village downtown. I've only been on a Cardinals game day before, so it was pretty fun to explore it from a night life point of view! I ended up getting sick and couldn't attend last year's wrap party - my last event was the Naturalizer event that you can read about here. Missing last year's party made this year's wrap event extra special!
