Romantic

To be honest, we don't normally go all out for Valentine's Day. We never have. I'm pretty sure our first one together we ate at Old Country Buffet, and it was magnificent to not have to worry about reservations nor wait for a table! We're pretty romantic like that. But, to be festive, I decided to dress the part. I scoured all the stores over the summer to find the perfect red maxi skirt. The last time I wore this, the weather was much different! Amazing how chiffon dots and pearlescent baubles romanticize this skirt! I actually really adore how this turned out! And I never use that word, "adore!"

How are you celebrating Valentine's Day?

  1. Very pretty and romantic look indeed! Please be careful today so you don't have another near death experience in your maxi skirt. I need you around. :)

    1. Admittedly I am in travel clothes today but I do plan to wear this for our dinner this weekend. But yes. I'm extra careful. Who else would enable you to shop so much if I wasn't around?!

  4. OMG, I have that same exact top! I wore it once LY, may have to pull it out again. Be safe out there. The sun is shining bright over here, but it's nippy.

  12. My husband loves Old Country Buffet--I think he'd be so excited if we ate there today, but I think we're just going to eat at home. Maybe. I have no idea, actually. Last minute planners... :P That skirt is really, really pretty!

    1. Ha! We are totally last minute, too. We ended up just getting take-out Friday night, then on Saturday decided what restaurant we wanted to eat at by which one was NOT on a wait! It was delicious though, so we still lucked out!
