Welcome to another Manic Monday! First of all, I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who linked up with us last week! We reached our all time high, and we are both so humbled and grateful for your support and participation! It's so exciting to see our little link-up grow!

Second of all, if you read my post from the weekend, you'll see I didn't get to make it to San Antonio after all. I'm pretty bummed about it - it was my Goddaughter's baby dedication I was supposed to attend. I was battling strep, and I'm at least happy to say that 3 days of antibiotics have done a lot of good, and I'm feeling night and day different. Definitely don't want to overdo it though, so I'll keep this short!

I originally bought this jacket after seeing it on one of my favorite bloggers, Jenny over at Crazy Style Love. You can see a couple ways she styled it here and here. Little did I know, this jacket would end up being one of the most worn pieces in my closet room! It just never gets old! I love how stripes can add immediate interest, but still be able to act as a neutral. I hope that if I ever inspire you to buy anything of mine that it also never gets old to you!

  1. Yeah, that striped jacket is pretty much perfection, and dang, those boots are gorgeous! Love seeing how you wore the pink scarf! I was thinking I wouldn't get much use out of it until Spring but I was so wrong. It has plenty of winter styling options, too.

    1. I originally planned on wearing the coral scarf with today's look, but today's look just looked better with the plaid/leopard. They're all great scarves. I just love Express. And it brought me to you, so there.
And yes, the boots - I'm so happy I got them. I was on a hunt for the perfect wine boot, and these are them hands down.

  2. I am also a huge fan of a striped cropped blazer if only I can find "the one" but sadly up to I haven't found my match. That bag of yours is also catching my eye!

  3. There it is...the chunky salt and pepper stripes seen everywhere. I just bought a blazer like this from The Loft. And I almost bought that scarf but it didn't look good on me; it looks amazing on you and definitely with that cobalt blue coat. Great job!

  20. I'm still loving that jacket Sorry to hear about your strep throat, but glad to hear you are feeling better! Have you tried the tarte gloss yet? I love their products...they are cruelty free, vegetarian and usually give a sheer natural flush (god, i sound like a commercial for them :) )

    1. yes, I tried the tarte! my lips are too dry to wear it on its own - but I applied it then just topped it off with some carmex. it's beautiful! I will need to post a better photo of me wearing it so you can see the color, but I would def recommend it!
